Steering wheel Vibrations

My steering has this vibration that kicks in mostly at highway speeds on my 200, its very distracting really and it's too steady to ignore, I'm also lost cos the tires were recently balanced and alignment checked out fine, so I'm crossing those off the list. Now I dont know if its a worn bushing, maybe tie rod ends or even something on the rack. I'm tired of issues, these dealer has probably built a house on my money by now, I know these trucks are built solid, but after years of trail time and long hauls, something's bound to give I guess, maybe ots to start saving up for another
If you've chased this kind of issue down on yours, what did it turn out to be?

Yeah, I get it, dealing with those highway shakes is tough. If your alignment and balance check out, you might want to check the tie rods, rack bushings, or maybe a loose wheel bearing.

Do you notice it getting worse when you brake or turn? Any weird noises when you go over bumps?

Take a look at the rack bushings too and even the steering shaft u-joint, they can wear and you can always get under and do a thorough check yourself if you feel something isnt right

Look at suspension joints, worn tie rods or ball joints are usually the problem, the bushings don't usually cause that steady vibe

This is all solid advice. I'd really recommend checking the tie rods, ball joints, and rack bushings closely, those smooth highway rides often come down to one of those parts. Have you noticed any play in the steering when the vehicle's parked?

Mine did the same, turned out to be an inner tie rod that had just enough play to cause a shake at speed. Definitely worth giving all those front end parts a wiggle test.
