In the following months i plan to move to a ranch where ill probably need to get a dog a big one so wanted to ask hows the situation in the back seat or boot and what equipment do i need to buy?

im moving to a ranch soon too and just got a big dog! :)

the back seat in my truck works fine if I fold the seats up and add a platform gives my dog plenty of space to lie down or sit. the boot's good too but i'd get a dog guard to keep them secure. for equipment a sturdy crate or harness for the back seat a nonslip mat and a water bowl are must haves. a ramp might help if your dog's heavy getting in and out. ;)

I keep seeing these things a lot lately, what seems to be like a dog seat car cover? Or what. I don't know what it's called but it looks like this [image attached]. Just so your dog doesn't feel caged, I feel like this is better than the normal barrier.

oh this is a nice mat! Do you have the link for this if it can be purchased online?

yeah a big plus on this! we have this in one of our cars and its really helpful especially for dogs who shed too much like our golden doodle. lol.

the mats are generally good and will do a decent job of keeping the seats protected from clwas and damage. Keep in mind that the hair will still go everywhere you won't be able to eliminate that completly
