auto brightness doesn't work

ive had the pleasure to drive my land cruiser for a few days and theres a little thing thats been bugging me the audo brightness which doesnt seem to work. let say that i can live with having to change the brigness manually but its a new car and the feature should work. is it an isolated incident or others have experienced the same?

Yup, been there man, it was blinding lol. Pretty simple actually, rotate the dimmer switch (counter clockwise?) past the detent,and that's it... auto dimmer will work.
