I expected the Land Cruiser to be more refined, but at low speeds, it feels as bumpy as a Wrangler. Highway driving is much better, with improved steering and less noise. I bought a 2010 for $41K, but above $60K, the Lexus GX is the better choice with its advanced suspension. The Land Cruiser's doors feel oddly light, and while the 4-cylinder hybrid is unrefined, it's practical and torquey. It's not a luxury SUV, but it's the best choice at this price.

Before my landcruiser and right after my avalon I tried driving a 2022 raptor with the 37 performance package. It doesn't compare with everything I ever owned like the audi, bmw, acura. One thing you might notice in the feel of the landcruiser is that it's quite relatively rougher, but that's only because it's built for a totally different purpose. Landcruisers are tough off-road crawlers. I'm still thinking the landcruiser is the best of its kind. We'll see in 10 years time.

Does it feel bumpy? I haven't particularly noticed it, but maybe because I got the wheels upgraded. Yes, but I notice highway driving is really smooth. Anyway, when I visited Thailand, I rented a Land Cruiser, too, and it feels smooth at city driving. Maybe depends on the roads mostly.
