my land cruiser hasn't arrived yet and i noticed the second row and trunk dont line up flat, so i think i need some padding. anyone got a simple fix or something i can buy a ready made? im thinking about using atleast 3 inches of memory foam over the trunk battery but it will cut into storage space. could i build a shelf back there to keep things neat and maximize room??

Interesting obesrvation. if I were you id check first if there are any accessories or adjustments available before getting your Land cruiser. but a memory foam sounds like a good idea. congratulations by the way!

You could definitely build a low shelf to even things out and still have a stash for your gear underneath. For my other family members, it's become a tradition to use plywood with carpet over it. hahaha it works great for camping setups too.

If your Land Cruiser's second row and trunk don't line up flat, adding some padding like memory foam can help, but it does eat into storage space. Building a shelf is a smart idea, it can create a flat surface while keeping things organized and freeing up room underneath. There are plenty of DIY guides online, or you might find ready-made shelf kits designed for your model to make it easier and cleaner
